Our Worship Services
All worship services at Grace are intended for the community at large. Anyone is welcome, and encouraged, to attend any service we offer. A description of our regularly scheduled services can be found on this page. If you have any questions (or suggestions), please feel free to contact our church office and we will be happy to address them.
Holy Eucharist
Holy Eucharist is the principal form of worship offered on Sunday mornings. The service includes the distribution of Holy Communion. In the Episcopal Church, Holy Communion is available to all baptized Christians. For those not wishing to receive communions, a blessing from the priest can be received instead. Holy Eucharist is offered in two forms: Rite I and Rite II.
Rite I (Sunday Mornings, 8:00am)
Our Rite I service features traditional language, and is intended to be a quiet, formal, and dignified service evoking reverence for God's transcendent holiness. The service is a spoken one, with no music, and a brief sermon is included. The service lasts approximately 40 minutes.
Rite II (Sunday Mornings, 10:30am)
Our Rite II service is a more contemporary service employing modern language and a comfortable, come-as-you-are atmosphere. Hymns and Choral Music emphasize God's loving presence. A children's service is offered concurrently featuring stories from the Children's Bible, memory verses, and lots of singing. The children join the adults in church at communion. A brief sermon is included. The service lasts approximately 65 minutes. A special time for fellowship and a light meal or snack follows immediately after the service.
Healing Eucharist (Wednesday Evenings, 6:00pm)
Our Healing Eucharist is a Rite II Eucharist with special time set aside to pray for the needs of those attending. The service provides an intimate atmosphere and a unique way to experience our Lord's Grace. The service last approximately 45 minutes.
Morning and Evening Prayer
Our Morning and Evening services are brief, devotional services combining daily scripture reading with a time for reflection and prayer. The services last approxmiately 15 minutes and are held daily. Morning prayer is offered at 7:00am Weekdays and Sundays, and at 9:00am on Saturdays. Evening Prayer is held at 6:00pm daily.
